When I turn off the screen with the power button, and then back on, the screen goes completely black. This occurs on my 8.0 android samsung galaxy phone. To recover, I can use the history function and choose androwish and it comes back on. While the screen is black, it does appear that the back key (break) is active, but I can't tell if anything else is responsive. This did not occur on this phone for the previous versions of androwish, and so I've reverted to an older version. However, I haven't tried all the versions since my older one, from 4-23-2016, which does not have the problem. This also does not happen on my older phone running android 5.1.1 an alcatel while running the 2019-06-22 version of androwish. chw added on 2019-08-05 05:17:41: Does this happen with a specific script or with an OOTB installed AndroWish? If the former, please provide a minimalistic script to reproduce. anonymous added on 2019-08-12 19:35:58: I don't use that version on my phone but as I recall, it didn't matter what I was running. I use the debug key version and had created a shortcut to a small program, ... It dawns on me that all my androwish programs do something in common that might have something to do with it, I have an image and maybe that's why you might not have seen the problem, anyway here's the smallest example I have. proc {initBackground} {canvas sourceImage} { global widget set tiledImage [image create photo] $canvas create image 0 0 -anchor nw -image $tiledImage -tags {backgroundBitmap} $canvas lower backgroundBitmap bind $canvas <Configure> "$tiledImage copy $sourceImage -to 0 0 \[winfo width $canvas\] \[winfo height $canvas\]" bind $canvas <Destroy> [list image delete $sourceImage $tiledImage] $tiledImage copy $sourceImage -to 0 0 [winfo width $canvas] [winfo height $canvas] } package require Img set pic [ set pdata { /9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAQAAAQABAAD/2wBDAAYEBQYFBAYGBQYHBwYIChAKCgkJChQODwwQFxQYGBcU FhYaHSUfGhsjHBYWICwgIyYnKSopGR8tMC0oMCUoKSj/2wBDAQcHBwoIChMKChMoGhYaKCgoKCgo KCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCgoKCj/wAARCAApAC0DASIA AhEBAxEB/8QAGAAAAwEBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAwQGBQf/xAA1EAACAQMCBAQEBAUFAAAAAAABAgME BREAIQYSMUEHE1FhFDIzgSI0cXIVI0KRwWKSobHC/8QAFgEBAQEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABAYF/8QA LBEAAQMCBAQGAgMAAAAAAAAAAQIDBAARBRIhMRMUQVEGFWFxgaGx8DKR4f/aAAwDAQACEQMRAD8A si0zlSVbkAwAy9PcazLjX3E1MdBZSklwn3VpwfKp4x80hxg+wHcn9TotTXCjo5qiaoYxxAszYzzA dgM6yqO+wWN6epvruLjdW3CrzCmiUfhDeirkZbpzMT06CxzEVwWLMC7iv4jf3PwKTBi8wu69Ejc/ j+6HV1M9HI8Fw8Q7PDKhIeMUMeVPcHmkJ/vpdKxamZVh8S7czscKvwcQBPbYMNP3+0U6Vsl5oKVZ ZnANTCqgmYD+pf8AWB/uG3poNnoKS8VUNwlpwlBA/PTRshUzMOkjA74B+UfoT21LoxNxUIy1TFBQ 0y5UXv2229a01YeoPhkNad7namqeuvFovItXEE9NOtQvmUdbTxeUJio/EjLk8rAb7Egj763mmmIH KFOOuUzqe4gr7ZxPLUWFKh466ACeCpQbRTIR8rdCy5GR6HGjcOXeouFtU1AVKyFjDURqxHJIuxx7 HqPY6oPD2KOzWuHJFnU67WuDsaBiEPl1Zm9Un6I6UK/x1NQlIlPTTVCfFIZ0iQuwQd8AdA3Ln2zp ajtlXNxVc5bhQVLRmCNKd2hbk8vfmXOMZ5tyPTGrzw3cniiPEgZfKfCjttpPxW45udk4iFJYb04w n8+DyImWFuwDFSTkbkdvvga/IcacmQk6hNrHb/KKZ3CiFkjQm9+tR1mSvoZq2meCpFshYfDyzRsh GeqbjdRtg++N8Z0PiOvqVpI0gYx07uFqZ13aKPuVH/Gew3wdXN8us188FaOtvdwMck9RiapBWI4E rrjbAGQAM7f31x+qutusLxJR3GlntjEKYhOrPAT6DJJX27dttS+I+H1NyFS2khQBuU9+/wC9fqqT DcXaeZTFeJSSLBXbt+9PutziBIIILBFagiTiqR6Yx7gRjeQk9wVz9yNYtwkvNXxTdH4UeKNFSJKt pPlaUBunuFK5+2l7jUU9lRquhR5quUeTR0oYledjnCDsCcE4221YcL2w2mzxQTNzVTky1Eg355G3 Y9PXWnAPmMznUpypSnL7k7/AomJR/LI/JrOZajmPoOnyatvDyoEfEsL1DpHGInHMzYA276ZtHC1F SeJlzvFfPR1NFKWqaWRqiMhJWYEhlJzkZOD0wPXGoQfTP6aFSfmJP26pChQJKTa4tU1obXG1X/iv T0ieHUtt4eWhnf4lZEpvOBXd2dumcDLHt6DXB47PxEPktdqjx380n/yNdEf8vH99Cf6Q/af+tDdw xh9WZ4XPzWlFxiXDRw46so32B/Iqa4b4crku38Uv8sDzQoUp4IQeSPPVsk7k9NWAAPQhQPcD/Ol4 vpp+3/Ghn6jaWywhhAbbFgKFIkOyXC68q6j1r//Z } image create photo -data $pdata ] clipboard clear clipboard append "set pic \[image create photo -data \{\n$pdata\n\}\]\n" canvas .c button .c.b -text {open a console} -command {console show} label .c.l -text {Picture Data in Clipboard} -bg black -fg yellow pack .c -fill both -expand 1 pack .c.b .c.l [button .c.x -text exit -command exit] -expand 1 -side top initBackground .c $pic wm geometry . 615x893+26+26 anonymous added on 2019-08-12 20:05:55: BTW, I cannot install that version any longer. It goes through the motions and says app not installed at the end. Thankfully, my old version is left intact and I can use that. chw added on 2019-08-13 05:20:10: Unable to reproduce with your sample script on both a Samsung Galaxy S6 with Android 6.0 and on a Noname tablet with Android 8.1. anonymous added on 2019-08-13 20:45:37: oh well, fwiw, my phone is 8.0 and I can't reproduce it anymore either since I can't reinstall that version. No biggy, thanks. chw added on 2019-08-13 21:24:35: Ok, then let us close this ticket for now. |
